i have fall break now!!! i had my p.e. exam today about natures effect on humans, i think it went well. im also kinda annoyed cause i cannot for the life of me create a blog page that works correctly. like, i tried to make buttons that revealed different bits of text, but i couldn't figure it out HOWEVER i have (mostly) enjoyed webmaking lately. also, i'm writing this on my school laptop!!! one day i'll be able to make working buttons...

recently, i've been watching a lot of 2bae1gallbladder on youtube! i think they're very funny, and they feel like. so homey. i can't explain it, either way, i reccomend!

i read a blog post by.. lendyls... i think theyre called? about how webmaking isnt only about maing a pretty website, but about creating a space to store the things you love. and a space u actually use. i think thats true, but for me the thing i like most about webmaking is the html coding, and designing, even though i hate it. however, i can definitely feel the vibes of people only wanting to have an aesthetic page. but at the same time, i think thats so fun. like just making a pretty website. idk. as you tell my brain is pretty unfiltered rn, and this thought isn't really fully baked yet. i think my main thought is that we don't have to force ourselves on neocities to make y2k nostalgic websites because "thats the point": cause it isnt possible. like we cannot hold onto the 2000s (i wasnt even alive in the 00s lol). i think we should make the indie web, but in our new modern ways! i think.

look, i'm not sure what i think, but thats just my thoughts rn.
